Europe Sales and Website Launch

This is Ian from Shimoda, I have some great news for anyone in the EU waiting to purchase Shimoda gear. As of today, August 2nd, we are officially launching our Europe website in English, which means you can now purchase Shimoda Designs products if you are based in the European Union. Orders will be shipped from our Shimoda warehouse in the Netherlands. Anyone in the UK, France or Germany can expect up to 5 business days for delivery. Other countries may take a bit longer.

Currently, EU customers can only shop in GBP currency. In approximately 3 weeks time, we will also have a French and German version of the site. To clarify - we can currently ship across the EU, but you will be charged in GBP and the site is currently only available in English. You will need to work out the currency conversion on your own for the time being. Your credit card or Paypal account will be charged in your home currency and converted at their official exchange rate. Sorry for the inconvenience. 

Please note that while we have a good amount of inventory in Europe, we have received a lot of interest from EU based customers and suspect product may move quickly. We have been pleasantly surprised by the continued demand, so please, if you have been waiting, don’t hesitate. Shop today!

United States of America
We have also restocked in the US, and in addition to selling direct through our website, Shimoda is also available through numerous stocking authorized retailers in the United States. As a result of these new retailers coming on board, much of our newly arrived stock has sold through our own warehouse and been shipped onward to retail shops. If you have a backorder placed, it will be fulfilled. But some new orders placed on our US website will likely see “backorder status”. If that happens to you, I highly recommend you visit our retailer page and contact them for stock availability.

If you find a product backordered on our website, please don’t think that the product is no longer available. Please check with your local retailers and ask if they are stocking Shimoda. If your local shop is not familiar with Shimoda or is not currently stocking our products, please consider asking them to stock it. But also check other retailers around the country, as many of our dealers are willing to ship direct via online purchase. If all that fails… try Amazon. :)
