If you bought your product from a Dealer in the U.S. but you reside in another country, please know that we will happily service your product but you will be responsible for shipping charges to and from our U.S.-based service facility. Thank you for understanding and remember to support your local dealer.
If your Shimoda bag fails due to manufacturing or material defects within five years of purchase, we will fix or replace it. Shimoda bags (“Products”) are meticulously constructed of excellent materials and components. Mamiya America Corporation d/b/a Mac Group (“MAC Group”)’s inspection process strives for “zero tolerance” of defects, and we back it up with a clear-cut warranty. MAC Group warrants that its Shimoda bags will be free from manufacturing defects for five years from the date of purchase. This limited warranty applies only to Shimoda bags and accessories, and only to Shimoda bags and accessories that were purchased from MAC Group or a MAC Group authorized retailer, unless otherwise prohibited by law. MAC Group Products are legitimately sold only by authorized sellers who are required to follow MAC Group’s policies, procedures, and quality control standards. MAC Group reserves the right to reject warranty claims from purchasers for Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized Internet sites. This limited warranty does not apply to any defects due to normal wear and tear, damage due to misuse, alteration to the product, improper handling or negligence. Shimoda bags are made to perform and look great for years, but signs of normal wear are be expected with any fabric product, and are not covered by warranty. Warranty covers Shimoda bags only; customer accepts responsibility for determining suitability and fitness for use, and therefore consequential damages are not warranted.
If you discover a defect in materials or workmanship, please contact MAC Group before returning your Product (we may be able to solve your problem faster by sending you a replacement part). MAC Group will determine the best way to handle your claim (parts, repair, or replacement, at our discretion) and take care of you quickly.
There are no warranties which extend beyond those stated herein. Any implied warranties that may be applicable to Products, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Under no circumstances shall MAC Group be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages based upon breach of this limited warranty, breach of contract or strict liability. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
